UMA OWRL is a collaborative effort between UMA Libraries, VAWLT, and the Augusta and Bangor Writing Centers. You will find tips for writing papers in various disciplines, help with citations, research tips, organization help, and more!

Getting started with writing and research can be a daunting step. The VAWLT can help you get organized and learn new strategies to keep your writing projects on track and on time.
The Augusta Writing Center supports writers and fosters a culture of writing at UMA, both in person in the Katz Library, and online.
The Bangor Writing Center supports the UMA community with their writing projects by offering one-to-one distance and in-person tutoring, and context-specific writing resources.
The UMA Library has 3 locations: Augusta, Bangor, and online. Librarians are available to help you choose a research topic, help you find, access, and evaluate sources.
