Daniel K. Philbrick

Dan Philbrick has been working in the University of Maine System for over 30 years. Dan started working in Library Services for USM before transitioning to Marketing and Public Relations for USM’s Lewiston-Auburn College.

As UMA’s Coastal Regional Director, Dan oversees the Directors in Brunswick, Rockland and Ellsworth.

As Director of the UMA Saco Center, he is responsible for planning, developing and implementing UMA activities, courses and programs in the Center’s geographic area.

He serves on several community partners’ and University Boards and committees, ensuring that the needs of both the community and the Center are met. He also works in conjunction with the Maine Department of Corrections and UMA’s Prison Education Program extending UMA degree programs to the Windham Correctional facilities.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Master of Arts in Leadership Studies from the University of Southern Maine.
