Dr. Erin Bellaire has been a nurse for 27 years. She earned her BSN from Husson College, her MSN from University of Maine and her DNP from Purdue University Global. Her practice improvement project was “Implementation of a Perinatal Depression Screening Tool in a Birthing Center.” Dr. Bellaire has been a Certified Nurse Educator (CNE) since 2023. Dr. Bellaire is the Clinical Coordinator and an Assistant Professor at the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) nursing program. Since 2022 she has served on the Organization of Maine Nurse Leader Executive Board as the Education and Practice Liaison. Dr. Bellaire serves as the Sigma Theta Tau Omicron Xi Chapter Counselor for UMA. She has been nominated for the Daisy Faculty Award each year since 2017. |
