Erin Voisine has been a nurse since 2004, with a range of nursing experience including medical-surgical, OB maternal-newborn, pediatric, long-term care nursing, as well as education. She instructs adult and pediatric nursing skills. Her lab focus is supporting the student as they learn nursing skills in a supportive and safe environment and to foster life-long learning in their nursing practice. Her teaching style is kinesthetic, inquiry-based, and includes real life experiences with evidence-based research. Erin is also the Learning Resource Laboratory Manager at the University of Maine at Augusta campus. She is currently enrolled in the Masters of Nursing Education at Orono. In addition to teaching students she also instructs baby care classes, Advanced Pediatric Life Support (PALS), and Basic Life Support (BLS). She resides in Augusta with her husband and two children.
