Bio | Dr. Page is a Certified Public Accountant and a Certified Financial Planner and has taught accounting courses at all levels for many years at UMA, Messiah College, and other colleges. He is currently teaching upper level accounting courses including Government and Non Profit Accounting, Advanced Accounting, Accounting Information Systems and Auditing. His current scholarly focus is State and Local Government Accounting, having written his dissertation on The Moral Reasoning of Government Accountants. He has experience in government auditing as well. He has served in various capacities in local governments including Selectperson for the Town of Sumner, Maine and Planning Commission for Monroe Township, Pennsylvania. Dr. Page has extensive experience in taxation, both in teaching and practice, having owned two CPA practices. Currently he assists with the Volunteer Income Tax Assistance Program at UMA. He is a member of the American Accounting Association, the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and the Maine Society of Certified Public Accountants. |
