Jennifer Freese obtained her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Campbellsville University in 2002. She graduated from Auburn University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2006. Originally from Northern Kentucky, Dr. Freese moved to Maine after veterinary school where she worked full time in small animal practice until 2017. At that time, she decided to make a change to education and has enjoyed working in the veterinary technology program at UMA since. In addition, she works in a veterinary clinic once a week. On campus you will find her teaching Intro to Veterinary Technology, Small Animal Care and Handling, Animal Disease, Pharmacology, and Radiology. A few of her favorite things include baking gluten and dairy-free desserts, and spending time with her husband, two sons, two cats, and dog. |
