Jessica Gordon is a singer, songwriter, and music producer from Long Beach, CA. She graduated with her B.A. in Psychology and Social Behavior in 2017 and spent the following years studying music at Saddleback College under Dr. Ariel Alexander and Dr. Norman Weston. She completed her Masters of Music in Commercial Music at California State University, Los Angeles in May 2021. Recognition for Jessica’s music includes being the 2019 Pop category winner and 2020 Pop category finalist of the Songdoor International Songwriting Competition, “Best Pop Song,” finalist of the Fall 2020 World Songwriting Awards, and semi-finalist of the 2019 International Songwriting Competition. Her song “Loud Enough” has been considered for placements with Netflix and will be featured on the award-winning “Women of Substance” podcast in February 2021. Jessica is currently collaborating on new music with other Los Angeles based musicians and continuing to write, produce, and place her own music. As a teaching professional, Jessica strives to help students find and master their voice, providing the tools they need to learn to incorporate authenticity, insight, and identity into their work. She works to cultivate a supportive and empowering environment where students feel comfortable taking risks in pursuit of their goals without fear of failure. |
