Nathan Parenteau

Nate has served in various Admission and Financial Aid based roles at UMA since 2018. While currently located on the Augusta campus, he was previously based at a UMA Center and has experience supporting distance and place-based learners in several areas. In his current role of Director of Enrollment Partnerships, Nate’s work includes generating and maintaining transfer agreements with area, and out of state community colleges, as well the administrative processes to support students in UMA’s workforce partnerships aimed at upskilling the Maine workforce. He is an Alumnus of the University of Maine in Orono where he earned his Master of Arts in Communication, Lasell University in Newton, Massachusetts, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Communication, and Southern Maine Community College in South Portland, earning an A.A.S in Communications and New Media. Outside of work, Nate enjoys cooking and baking, spending time with his family, and exploring both in Maine and beyond.
