Guitar, Bass, and Drums day at UMA

This event is free and open to the UMA community, high school students, and the general public. Attendees must register in advance with Dr. Anita Jerosch, anita.jerosch@maine.edu. 

We will have 4 workshops 45 minutes each, running simultaneously and attendees may attend 1, 2, 3, or all 4. 

The workshops will be presented by UMA Artist Faculty:

• Scott Hughes – Rock Guitar
• Peter Herman – Jazz Guitar
• Jeff Rojo – Classical and Folk Guitar
• Duane Edwards – String Bass and Bass Guitar
• Jackson Cromwell – Drum Set

Attendees may bring guitars, basses, and drumsticks. We will have a few instruments in each room for attendees to borrow for each workshop but not enough for everyone. Playing an instrument is not necessary. Attendees may just sit and listen.
