LGBT and Gender 101 workshop

This 90-minute FREE Zoom training will be presented by Equality Maine and is open to everyone in the UMA community. “LGBT and Gender 101” provides all participants with a shared understanding of the LGBTQ+ community, introductory information about the gender spectrum and gender identities, and best practices to support people in these communities on a daily basis. 

It is designed as an introductory workshop to the more advanced “Allyship in Action” free training on April 23. 

Equality Maine is “the oldest and largest statewide organization dedicated to creating a fair and just society for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer Mainers.”  Sponsored by UMA JEDI (Justice, Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion).
