N. Scott Momaday Celebration & Film Screening

Join us as we celebrate the life and work of N. Scott Momaday, the man who opened the door for Native American writers with his novel, House Made of Dawn, which won the Pulitzer Prize in 1969. Momaday, who died in January, will be celebrated at University of Maine at Augusta, Bangor campus, 8 March, from 2 to 4 p.m.

We will show his documentary Words of a Bear, read some of his poetry together, and discuss his work.
