The Great UMA Clean Out Day

ATTN: UMA Faculty and Staff – 

We are thrilled to announce “The Great UMA Clean Out Day” across our Augusta and Bangor campuses on Tuesday, August 20, starting promptly at 8:00 AM. Dumpsters will be strategically placed for your convenience on both campuses. 

On-Site Shredding will be available in Augusta for any documents that need to be disposed of.  We encourage all Augusta departments to preemptively review documents for shredding to make the most of having On-Site Shredding on campus. Retention guidelines can be found in the system APL.

(A future date for On-Site Shredding services in Bangor, TBD) 

President Cushman is generously sponsoring a cookout-style lunch catered by Sodexo, served at Noon on both campuses. Please RSVP by Friday, August 9th. Your response will help us plan for lunch and organize building assignments as we aim to tackle all areas effectively.

During this event, offices may be closed unless it is necessary to retain a skeletal staff. We recommend wearing work clothes suitable for potentially dirty tasks.

As part of our clean-out initiative, there will be items deemed salvageable but no longer necessary for institutional use. These items will be available for faculty and staff to take. Please ensure any selected items are removed by the end of the day on Friday, August 23rd.
