UMA Brunswick is one of seven centers around Maine where people can take courses, pursue degrees, and receive all the support they need to earn a degree close to home and on schedules that fit into their family and work lives. Courses are taught by faculty onsite, online, and via web videoconferencing (distance synchronous). The Center is located in a wing of Orion Hall on the Southern Maine Community College Midcoast Campus, 12 Sewall Street, Brunswick.

UMA Brunswick Center has served the southern midcoast area for more than 30 years.
We provide local access to more than 60 university degree and certificate programs.
We offer small class sizes, personalized services, tutoring in math and writing, and Osher scholarships.
Students select from 500+ classes in flexible formats, including a number of traditional onsite classes.

Center Hours

The Center is open for remote and limited in-person services during the Fall 2024 Semester. Students are expected to follow UMS and UMA vaccination guidelines, including COVID-19 guidance.

All services are available remotely: registration assistance, advising, admissions, and enrollment support. Please call 207.442.7736 or email Center Staff to schedule an appointment. Remote services are available M-F.

Fall Semester Business Hours: (9/3/24 to 12/13/24)

Monday to Friday: 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

We are open for evening classes only on Wednesday and Thursday until 6:45 PM.

For students who have classes or need appointments outside of these hours, please contact staff to schedule an appointment.

The Center is closed for the following holidays during the Fall Semester: 9/2/24, 10/14/24, 11/11/24, 11/27-29/24, and 12/25/24.

Thanksgiving Break for students is Wednesday, November 27 to Friday, November 29.
