The UMA Saco Center is one of seven centers around Maine where people can take UMA courses, pursue degrees from UMA, and receive all the support they need to earn a degree close to home and on schedules that fit into their family and work lives. Courses are taught by faculty onsite, online, or via web-conferencing . The Center is currently located at 209 Main Street, Suite 104 in downtown Saco next to the Main Street Post Office.

• We provide local access to almost all of UMA’s degree and certificate programs.
• We offer small class sizes, personalized support services, tutoring, convenient scheduling, financial aid, and scholarships.
• Students select from a schedule of hundreds of classes taught by faculty onsite, online, and web-conferencing.

Proctored Exams:
Students must make appointments at least 24 hours in advance to take proctored exams unless already arranged by your class.

Driving Directions

From the North or from South on the Maine Turnpike

• Take Exit 36 (Saco/Old Orchard Beach) off the Maine Turnpike onto I-195 East toward Saco/Old Orchard Beach
• Take Exit 1 for Industrial Park Road
• Turn left onto Industrial Park Road
• Turn left onto North Street, and proceed straight for approximately 1.6 miles
• Turn Right onto Main Street (second street after light)
• Proceed approximately .3 miles and turn left onto Free Street
• The Center’s entrance is located next to a municipal parking lot behind the Post Office or you may enter through the main entrance of 209 Main Street and proceed down the hall looking for UMA Directional signage.

Parking Information: There is limited parking in the municipal lot next to the Center’s main entrance and is limited to two hours. Parking on Main Street also has time limits. If you plan on visiting longer than two hours, we recommend seeking parking on Middle Street or High Street. It is a short walk from both streets to the Center’s entrance.
