We are thrilled to announce that the 2025 Plunkett Poetry Festival is scheduled for Saturday, April 26, at the UMA Augusta campus. This year’s festival promises an enriching experience with a lineup of engaging workshops, esteemed speakers, and vibrant programming designed to celebrate the art of poetry.

We are honored to welcome Natalie Diaz as our keynote speaker. Diaz is a Pulitzer Prize-winning Mojave poet, language activist, and educator. Her work has been widely acclaimed for its depth and resonance, and we are excited to have her share her insights and experiences with us.

Festival Highlights

Poetry Workshops: Participate in interactive sessions led by distinguished poets, including a special workshop conducted by Natalie Diaz herself. These workshops offer a unique opportunity to refine your craft and engage with fellow poetry enthusiasts. Workshop seats are limited – register today!
