Join us in Augusta or online as Dr. Muhammad Zaman discusses his book “We Wait for a Miracle: Health Care and the Forcibly Displaced.” This amazing book shares the personal stories of refugees, internally displaced persons, and stateless persons across the world while explaining the history and complexities of health care access for people lacking citizenship rights where they live.

Join us as Dr. Zaman talks about his book and answers questions about his work and about the health care realities faced by forcibly displaced persons around the world.

This event is open to anyone who wants to attend (all UMA students, faculty, staff, and the general public).
