Debora Roundtree, Director of UMA’s East Millinocket Center, received the 2018 Horizon Award from Eastern Maine Development Corporation for her participation in the Katahdin Collaborative. The EMDC’s Horizon Award recognizes organizations that foster collaboration, cooperation, and communication within our communities. This Katahdin Collaborative brought together various business, civic, and non-profit groups to work on a community and economic plan that resulted in the Katahdin Gazetteer, a visioning process for the region.
