For students looking for help completing the Federal Application for Student Aid (FAFSA), identifying scholarships, and other financial assistance to support college enrollment, the UMA Rockland Center will host a web conferencing workshop via ZOOM on Wednesday, June 3 from 12:00noon – 1:00PM.
Patrick Blanchette, a skilled financial aid counselor from Maine Educational Opportunity Centers, will provide a thorough overview of the 20-21 financial aid cycle, help students find scholarship information, and discuss the process for filing income appeals for those whose income is quite different now from what was reported on a tax filing.
“Getting help up front can reduce errors and delays in getting the best financial aid package no matter where you are planning to attend college,” said UMA Rockland Director Deborah Meehan. “I strongly encourage getting this sort of professional expertise and assistance. It will be an hour well spent.”
A link to the workshop will be sent once you complete the Google registration form at.
