This summer, the UMA Ellsworth Center is hosting the RSU 24 Adult Education College Transitions program again.
From May 31 to July 26, three classes (English, Math and Technology, and College Readiness) are taught to as many as eight individuals per session, that have graduated high school or gotten their GED. Many of these students go on to apply, enroll and graduate from UMA.
MEOC advisor, Suzanne Graves Hall is also onsite to inform students of opportunities and advise on the sources for scholarships and additional funding.
RSU 24 Adult Ed Director Ander Thebaud who teaches College Readiness commented recently about how excited she was to see how many of the most recent graduates she taught in previous College Transitions sessions.
The Center is happy to welcome them each new session!
