The office assistant will be responsible for providing administrative support to the UMA Cybersecurity Department regarding daily operations. Primary duty will be to provide administrative support to faculty, staff, and students.
Work includes:
- Admissions & Enrollment outreach
- Cyber Graduate outreach
- Student Club/Chapters support & Student Activities support
- Grant & Scholarship research and preparation support
- Meeting & Event planning
- Additional tasks as needed to support the department
Qualifications include:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
- Proficiency in Google applications, to include Gmail, Calendar, & Drive
- Familiarity with Zoom
- Social media experience on multiple platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter)—personal experience is fine, but professional is a plus
- Strong communication and writing skills
- Ability to work with a team and be self-directed
- Self-starter, fast learner, and creative thinker
Preferences:
- Administrative background
- Business and/or Marketing background
- (Cybersecurity background NOT required)
