Do you want to help a dental hygiene student obtain their license?
This year’s graduating class is taking their licensing examination on April 17th, 2019. Students must find and treat patients who meet specific needs, such as having a particular level of calculus or tartar deposit. All qualifying patients are treated for free!
To help dental hygiene students find qualifying patients, free screenings are being held on Wednesday, February 13th. Screening appointments will be begin at 4:30 pm and will be scheduled throughout the evening, concluding by 8:30 pm. .
In order to qualify, patients must:
- be at least 18 years of age
- have back teeth
- no allergies to latex
- no previous treatment with bisphosphonates (e.g. Fosamax);
- be available April 17th for the board examination.
