The Laboratory for Physical Sciences (LPS) at the National Security Agency (NSA) is hosting a summer internship focused on high-performance computing (HPC) for undergraduates during the summer of 2022. The program will run from June 6, 2022-August 5, 2022 will take place at LPS in Catonsville, MD, and includes housing and a weekly stipend.
The goal of this program is to give bright, driven undergraduate students majoring in mathematics, computer science, computer engineering, and related fields experience working on technical problems in future computing that support NSA mission needs. In addition, students will learn about the NSA mission and exciting career opportunities. The program will include challenging hands-on technical work, talks by technical experts, presentations about job opportunities, and educational/social field trips.
The internship is ideal for students graduating in Spring 2023 but is open to all undergraduates who are US citizens. The application deadline is January 31, 2022.
