Student Conduct Hearing Board Application

An application is now available for the University of Maine System’s Student Conduct Hearing Board.

The UMS Student Conduct Hearing Board is composed of faculty, staff, and students, and hears cases and determines responsibility when there has been an allegation of a violation of the UMS Student Conduct Code, and also helps educate the campus about community standards. Cases heard by the Student Conduct Hearing Board have a significant impact on the University community.

Student members of the Committee must meet the following eligibility requirements:

  • Have completed at least one full semester at a University of Maine system campus and be registered for 3+ credit hours at a UMS institution;
  • In good disciplinary standing with the University (not on current sanction);
  • In good academic standing with the University (not on academic probation or suspension – campuses define GPA requirements differently but generally at least a 2.0 GPA).
