Greetings Colleagues!
Please SAVE THE DATE: UMA’s annual Student Research Conference will be held on Friday, April 18, 2025. We’ll be using the Fourwaves conference platform again, which means this year’s conference will take place simultaneously in person on the Augusta and Bangor campuses, in real time on Zoom, and asynchronously.
This conference is 100% based on the voluntary efforts of faculty and staff, so if you’d like to be part of the planning committee for this outstanding event, consider coming to our organizational meeting on Friday, October 18 at 10 AM. All UMA faculty and staff are welcome to help! The UMA SRC planning committee usually meets monthly in the Fall, and then ad hoc subcommittees meet as needed in the run-up to the conference in the Spring.
If you’re interested in being part of the planning (even if you can’t make it on 10/18), just let Lorien Lake-Corral or Robert Kellerman know!
