The General Assembly will be holding a variety of opportunities for students to learn about student government involvement. The first one will take place on June 11th in Fireside Lounge on the Augusta Campus and via Zoom.
Schedule:
10:00am – 10:30am: Introductions & Socializing
10:30am – 11:30: General Assembly Meeting
11:30am – 12:00pm: Free Time
12:00pm – 1:30pm: Lunch & Presentation: Jordan Shaw (E…. Group Functions)
1:30pm – 2:00pm: Leadership topics/speakers/trainings discussion
2:00pm – 2:30pm: Student government policies/procedures discussion
2:30pm – 3:00pm: Open Discussions & Questions
These are open to all students. Please reach out to Heidi Toner if you are interested in participating so to be included for the lunch order. A similar day will also be offered on July 9th on UMA’s Bangor Campus (Lewiston Hall, Room 217) or via Zoom. Finally, the General Assembly will host its August General Assembly meeting via Zoom on August 13th at 10 AM.
