After a long career of supporting, assisting, and advising students through the higher education process, Sally Daniels, UMA Ellsworth Center Student Services Coordinator retired on June 2nd.
Sally was a strong advocate for the need for college readiness and its impact on college success. She developed the cohort model used by many Adult Education programs within Maine. Sally looked at the big picture for students and helped guide many students through UMA degree completion. She also was the advisor to the Ellsworth Center Student Association (SA). Often the SA would have themed basket raffles for students.
In keeping with the UMA Ellsworth Center tradition, the Center’s staff and students presented Sally with a retirement basket and a bouquet. Sally and her sister have a retirement road trip planned so, this basket was road trip themed.
We all sincerely wish Sally the best in her retirement and to have fun on her retirement road trip. We have all been blessed to have been a part of her career.
