Recently the Hearthstone Team for the University of Maine at Augusta made the playoffs with a victory against Northeastern University. They are entering into their second round in the next week.
The UMA Heathstone Team is part of the UMA ESports Program. Hearthstone is a digital collectible card game set within the Warcraft Universe. It is played exclusively in a one versus one format. When players compete they select a hero from one of eleven classes. Decks can include cards that feature a variety of creatures, spells, and other things.
