The University of Maine at Augusta’s jazz and rock ensemble, Juice Joint, will spread holiday cheer while supporting a great cause with a festive performance at Cadenza, 5 Depot St., Freeport, Maine, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19. Tickets are $23 in Advance and $28 at the Door. Student rate $10. Proceeds from the event will benefit Freeport Community Services, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting families and individuals in need.
Audiences can enjoy a lively mix of holiday classics and highlights from the ensemble’s recent fall concert. The evening will showcase the talent of UMA students Emily LaChappelle, Sharyn Atwater, Tyler Foster, David Austin, Kurt Levesque, Thomas Runco, Gabriel Brents, and Dan Osgood, along with alum Berto Serio, under the direction of ensemble leader Duane Edwards.
