

UMA has been recognized in the U.S. News 2025 Best Online Program rankings with two significant placements: No. 107 for Best Online Bachelor’s Programs and No. 60 for Best Online Bachelor’s Programs for Veterans. UMA’s online bachelor’s programs rank first in Maine and seventh in the Northern region, which includes Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont.
UMA’s online bachelor’s in business program also improved its standing, moving up six spots to No. 118 from No. 124. This advancement underscores UMA’s focus on academic innovation and continuous improvement.

U.S. News evaluates online degree programs using a rigorous methodology that includes factors such as student-instructor interaction, graduation rates and available support services. These rankings affirm UMA’s position as a leader in online education.
