University of Maine at Augusta Begins Presidential Search
The University of Maine System (UMS) has begun its search for a new president for the University of Maine at Augusta (UMA) and established a search committee to oversee that process.
The search is being conducted through a 14-member search committee under the oversight and procedures of the Board of Trustees of the University of Maine System. The search committee includes representatives of the UMA faculty, students, staff and Board of Visitors; UMS Board of Trustees; and local community. The committee is chaired by UMS Trustee Roger Katz.
The search committee is assisted by ZRG Partners LLC, executive search consultants.
Upcoming Listening Sessions will include meetings for faculty, staff, students and community members so that all stakeholders have an opportunity to provide input into the qualities, qualifications and priorities of the next UMA president. In addition to group-specific meetings, will be an open forum for all to attend. Virtual access will be provided for anyone who is unable to attend in person.
Visit uma.edu/presidential-search for more information and the current schedule of meetings.
